    1. Quote from Viktor Frankl who survived the Holocaust and was in a concentration camp: “Every day, every hour, offered the opportunity to make a decision, a decision which determined whether you would or would not submit to those powers which threatened to rob you of your very self, your inner freedom; which determined whether or not you would become the plaything of circumstance, renouncing freedom and dignity to become molded into the form of the typical inmate.”
The powers that be are literally trying to rob us of our very selves and are teaching us that their power is more important than science, reason and not allowing us to trust our instincts. They are robbing us of ourselves, our inner core. Once they get that, they can do anything to us they want. They have already kidnapped and held hostage people against their will in “covid hotels” and then extorted money from their victims to pay for their own hostage-taking. We are on Stage 6 of the 10 Stages of Genocide. All these behaviours are TRULY Sociopathic according the the Diagnostic Manual of Mental Health: this is defined legally and morally as abuse.

  1. Very courageous of you.
    Sad on so many levels.
The students will suffer and clearly the college doesn’t care about the students as much as you do.
    I wish you well.

  2. Julie, thank you for sharing. I have been a RN for 24 years and I’m being fired due to the vaccine mandate. I worked in a hospital throughout covid. Now, this. You understand the loss; not only of income to pay your mortgage, car, and groceries. But also the loss of your work family, your feel good way of helping your students. For me it’s patients, that I care about deeply. It’s all surreal. The people that are happy we are getting fired will realize too late that it’s us now, but will be them at some point. It’s all horrible. I thank you for sharing your story. I share your tears, anxiety and sleepless nights. I pray God blesses you in huge, beautiful ways you couldn’t have imagined.

    1. Wow a tumultuous time in this age.so sorry your the one dragged through this with many others.they,re mad also we refuse the conditions of conformity against personal rights

  3. Congratulations for having courage to do what is right! It may be sad now but you are living with your morals intact!!

  4. Thank you for standing up..I do appreciate you for this .I feel so helpless at this moment and I’m so afraid for my children..may God bless you and your family ❤️

  5. I wanted to write you Julie an email but figure you are not allowed access to your university email. Thank you so much for your brave stand. I am very sure my husband will be taking the same stand soon and you are a great example to follow. I’ve known of you since you were interviewed by Mike Theisson and thought you were very articulate. I will remember to pray for you. God bless you as you stand for your convictions!!!

  6. Bless you. You gave us strength to keep fighting for what is lawful and right. You are a true warrior of light and truth.

    1. Thank you for your statement. We will follow your journey if you share it online. I guess the brave like you will have to develop other ways to do your work. University culture is not inclusive nor diverse; it is authoritarian and anti-intellectual. My deepest sympathy and also respect…..

  7. I only hope that my son or daughter has the opportunity to learn from a courageous human being such as yourself one day. You are incredibly brave taking this stand, Although it comes with a lot of emotion. 20 years of your life you’ve given and to be treated this way is absolutely disgusting. My heart goes out to you and thank you. You’ve proved to me that I need to stand up and be braver than I have been.

  8. Dear Professor Ponesse-my email to your university address immediately bounced. To those writing messages of support: sympathy and admiration are not enough. If everybody says no, this monstrosity will stop overnight. Professor Ponesse’s gesture should engage all of us.

  9. From the United States THANK YOU and God bless you for your courage and conviction. Doing what’s right is sometimes hard but you are doing the right thing. There are 80 million kiof us here trying to do the same !!

  10. I feel like people who speak the truth will always be at the position of Socrates, which is a position of someone who at the end of the day is not not ashamed to look at their own reflection in the mirror. Stay strong, and regards from a fourth year BA student from UBC who considers not to continue her studies because this situation is disgusting on so many levels. The way university authorities and professors who hurry to comply act is nonacademic. Universities are no longer academies after this, but something completely different. How will I look at myself in the mirror if I get a degree from an institution like that? My degree will be the same as that of people who don’t care about the scientific method whatsoever, since they don’t defend it at this crucial moment and probably don’t even understand it, if this is how they act. So why call it academia after that? Why want their degree? Of course you invest money and your own health and put your soul into studying, but is it worth it to have a degree after you see what we are seeing right now???!!!!!! It contradicts everything you’d been taught so far in quantitative research methods courses you took, in philosophy courses you took, etc. Also, university professors should stay strong and together, stop letting this situation divide you and stop bending the truth and ridicule the scientific method and pretend like nothing of this sort is happening.

  11. “At first they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, but I did’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time nobody was left to speak up.” (Rev. Martin Niemoller)

  12. Sue the crap out of the University. We need a bunch of lawsuits going drain their bank accounts

  13. Good news. According to Nobel Prize winning virologist Luc Montagnier. all who take the shot will die from it eventually. So the Nazis who fired you will all soon be rotting in hell.

  14. Dear Dr. Ponesse, you are a true hero during these dark times, and I admire your courage for standing by your morals and ethics to the very end. You’ve inspired me deeply, and if I’m given the same ultimatum from my employer, you gave me the courage to follow on your footsteps. Wishing you good health and peace from Texas, and while this one closed, may many new doors and opportunities open for you.

  15. Should we be confidence or hesitation on something, particularly medicines, that have not been tested by time? It was a simple question, but unfortunately, has become a question of soul. Professors are searching truth, debating for truth, and teaching truth, because of which they are highly respected. “The way university authorities and professors who hurry to comply act is nonacademic.” It is actually a moral corruption, depravity as well as an active or passive crime against the students.
